There’s no denying the historical impact that Poland possesses. With 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the capital city of Warsaw that was rebuilt in 12 years after being destroyed in World War II, Poland is definitely a historical buff’s paradise. But Poland has much more to offer as well. Adventurists would be drawn to Zakopane- Poland’s winter sport capital and Piening Mountain Range for skiing enthusiasts with snow from Dec-May. Cultural enthusiasts would love to visit Krakow- known as the “colossus of art and architecture”. And after all of this excitement, travelers can relax at one of the numerous seaside resorts or one of the greater than 40 health spa municipalities which offer an array of mineral springs and mud.
