The term babymoon was first popularized in the 1990’s and was defined as the period of time parents spent bonding with their newborn. By the 2000’s, the term evolved to include a final trip for the parents-to-be before the baby arrived. This trend has been taking off in recent years and range from a quiet road trip to an elaborate overseas excursion with individualized services and amenities for the parent-to-be.
