Some vacation suppliers advocate booking packages while others advertise booking separately. So who’s right? Well here’s a quick breakdown for both options. Due to excessive airline costs, many hotels will lower their prices in order to book their properties making the package option less expensive. Packages are also great for last-minute travel or travel to popular locations during high season. On the other hand booking separately allows for more flexibility in case you want to change your itinerary during the trip as well as offer more options for accommodations (i.e. B&Bs, sublets/rentals, etc). Basically the best option depends not only on the individual traveler but also the specific type of travel requested. Our suggestion is to seek the advice of a travel expert who can assist with what will work best for you.
