With increasing baggage fees, today’s’ traveler must pack smart. Anticipate the weather and expected activities ahead of time and try to pack multi functional outfits that transition well throughout the day. Avoid heavy or bulky items if possible to maximize your space and maintain weight restrictions. Make sure you keep all essential items (medication, travel documents, small electronics, etc) in your carryon bag in case your checked bag gets lost in transit. And lastly, leave the kitchen sink at home….your muscles and wallet will appreciate it.
