Being a good, bad or indifferent traveler is very subjective and depends on a variety of factors such as the individual, environment, purpose of the trip and location/destination. Despite these varying aspects, there are a few tips that should be used universally. Be open-minded and be on your best behavior; Respect the local customs, traditions and etiquette of the area; and Be humble and gracious. Keep in mind that hosts are proud of their home towns and are usually eager to show you the best it has to offer.
