    Scotland consists of 800 islands, 300 of which are inhabited. It is well known for its beautiful scenery including highlands, deep lochs, majestic mountains, beautiful beaches and wonderful ski slopes. Scotland is home to golf, invented in the 15th century and boast of over 550 sprawling golf coasts. One of its famous cities, Glasgow, is known for some of the best architecture in Britain. And for those looking for a little fun, Scotland is also home to kilts, whisky and the infamous Loch Ness monster.

    Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is home to 4500 listed buildings on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list, the highest concentration in the world.
