Wales is a small country, about the size of Massachusetts. Despite its size, Wales is home to 641 castles, fortresses and Roman forts. This green country has 745.65 miles of coastline including the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Britain’s only coastal national park. It also has 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 3 national parks and 3 national hiking/walking trails. English is widely spoken however travelers can hear Welsh which is still widely spoken, making for a great educational experience.
