    Don’t have any travel companions? Or maybe you don’t want to go where they want to go? Well then consider traveling alone. Solo travel is growing in popularity, mainly in part to these (and similar) reasons.  Benefits of traveling solo include (but not limited to) meeting new people that you may be less inclined to engage if you had a travel companion, moving at your own leisure and maximizing your trip to experience only the things you are interested in without having to compromise with others. As long as you are prepared (check out past tips Travel Safe and Know Before you Go), solo travel can be an exciting and liberating experience!
