Planning group travel can be a daunting experience and it’s safe to say, everyone involved will not be 100% pleased. However here are a few things everyone should consider when planning a group getaway. Finalize the group’s max budget and identify the type of trip desired (i.e. business, relaxation, tour, etc) prior to getting any quotes. Once you have this, look at the demographics (age, gender, commonalities, etc) and personalities (punctual and scheduled, leisurely, free- spirited, etc) of the group to help narrow down your choices. Lastly determine the type and amount of activities desired by the group. Knowing who you are planning for in the beginning will save a lot of headaches down the road.
