    Hotel room rates are based on numerous factors. The primary factor is location. The more popular or desirable the location, the more expensive the price will be. Next to consider are the amenities offered. Hotels offering more comforts/convinces charge more than those who do not.  Length of stay is weighed as well with most hotels offering deeper discounts for longer stays. And lastly, time of year/season is considered. Hotels charge more during their high season as compared to low season. Taking these factors into consideration can help with determining the best hotel choice along with realistic cost expectation.
