• Getting Better Sleep on Planes

Posted on April 26, 2014 by in Ask Aston

Sleeping on planes comes naturally for some while others struggle to get a good rest. For those in the latter, here are a few tips to help achieve some good shut eye. Choose a good seat, making sure it can recline and the armrests are adjustable. Picking the window seat will not only allow you to control the shade but also keep you from being disturbed by seatmates who need to get up. Avoid caffeine prior to the flight and bring a neck pillow and blanket for warmth and comfort. Bring soothing music to help drown out other noise and try to avoid light. If you’re not by the window to close the shade, an eye mask is always helpful.
