• Choosing a Destination Wedding Location

There is no “best” location to have a destination wedding because what works for one couple won’t work for the next. Couples should choose their location based on their unique needs and desires. Begin by researching marriage requirements for each location as they vary greatly. Next, think about the types of things you and your guests like to do while on vacation. Consider your guest population and characteristics (i.e. Children vs. adults, same-sex couples, physical accessibility, etc) to compare them to the mandatory demographics of each hotel/country. And keep in mind most hotels require a great majority (typically 80%) of your guests stay on the same property where the ceremony is to take place.
