• Choose a Compatible Travel Companion

If you’re not keen on traveling solo, choosing the right travel partner is imperative. However, it may not be as easy as you think. Just because you get along in your home town does not mean the same will happen elsewhere. When looking for a travel companion, there are some tips you should employ before making that commitment. Discuss your planned budget ahead of time. Your idea of a “nice hotel” may differ greatly from your friend. Have some things in common so you can actually enjoy some excursions together vs. being dragged to something that doesn’t interest you. But build in some alone time as being with someone 24/7 may sound ideal beforehand but not so much later on. Lastly, be honest with yourself. If the person you are considering travel with differs from you greatly, you’re not compatible.
