    The term Boutique Hotel has been growing in common vernacular in recent years however they have been around since the 1980s. Popular in North America and the UK, it usually refers to hotels with 10-100 rooms. They often contain luxury facilities in exclusive or intimate settings with full service accommodations. Unlike large chain hotels, boutique hotels generally are unique, typically furnished in a stylish theme or inspirational manner. The amenities vary based on the specific theme or purpose of the hotel ranging anywhere from state of the art technology to a totally unplugged experience.
